The Etna Human Relations Commission (HRC) was founded to ensure all Etna residents are provided with equal opportunity and access to employment, housing, commercial property, and public accommodation regardless of race, color, national origin, ancestry, religious creed, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, veteran’s status, marital status, familial status, genetic information, handicap or disability, or use of an assistance animal. The HRC collects and mediates submitted discrimination complaints and provides education and outreach to the community on relevant issues to create a more welcoming and equitable Borough for all residents, present and future.

This form is intended for use to submit a discrimination complaint to the Etna, Pennsylvania, Human Relations Commission. Please provide as much information as possible to assist in mediation.

The HRC assists only in mediating complaints. There is no guarantee of resolution that is mutually accepted by both parties nor any legally binding resolution. Submission of a complaint to the Etna HRC does not preclude the complainant from submitting a complaint to the county or state HRC or from pursuing legal action. After submitting a complaint, the Etna HRC can assist you in connecting with the county, state, or federal commissions or agencies that may be able to provide additional support.

Submitted information will be used by the HRC solely for the purposes of mediation of the submitted complaint.
